Fenniarail's two new Vectron electric locomotives have started commercial traffic

The locomotives' test runs were successfully completed during November and the locomotives have been in commercial traffic since the end of November. The locomotives are named Ahti and Aino – characters taken from the Finnish national epic, the Kalevala. The characters of the locomotives are designed by Franz Design Oy.

Fenniarail's current locomotive capacity consists of six Dr18 diesel locomotives and three Siemens electric locomotives.
