Fenniarail's operation expands with the procurement of electric locomotives and lumber wagons. Thus, the company is strengthening its organization. Fenniarail's Operations Manager Hannu Lehikoinen has been appointed Planning Director, and the company has started the recruitment process for a traffic manager responsible for operations.
The Planning Director is responsible for transport and fleet concepts, new fleet acquisition projects and the planning of traffic structures.
The Operations Manager is responsible for locomotive driver functions, transport management and short-term planning. Janne Holopainen works as the supervisor of transportation management and as the education manager of Fenniarail's educational institution.
